Golden Gate Bridge - Minimal 06 by Andrea Mazzocchetti
The Golden Gate Bridge is a suspension bridge overlooking the Golden Gate, the strait that connects the Pacific Ocean with the San Francisco Bay. It connects San Francisco, on the northern tip of the peninsula of the same name, with the southern part of Marin County. In Marin County, the closest town to the bridge is the small coastal town of Sausalito.

Overall, the bridge, including the up and down ramps, is 2.71 km long; the distance between the towers ("main span") is 1 282 m and the space available under the bridge is 67 m with medium high tide conditions.
