Description
Prague, Czech Republic - 08 by Andrea Mazzocchetti
Prague, capital of the Czech Republic, is crossed by the Vltava river. Nicknamed "the city of a hundred towers", it is known for the Old Town Square, the heart of the historic core, home to colorful Baroque buildings, Gothic churches and the medieval astronomical clock, which gives a show every hour. Completed in 1402, the pedestrian Charles Bridge is lined with statues of Catholic saints.
