An italian vineyard in the wonderful region of Tuscany, one of the best places of the world.
Various fossil traces of "Vitis Vinifera" found in the travertines of San Vivaldo and near Montevarchi suggest that this plant has been present in Tuscany for at least 2 million years. The activity of winemaking in Tuscany certainly derives from the Etruscans who inhabited central Italy. The wine produced by the Etruscans has remained famous throughout history and appreciated in many areas of the Mediterranean.
The subsequent Roman domination refined the winemaking techniques, and the wine was transformed from a drink of the privileged to a large consumption drink, to the point of being considered as a long-life medical and secret remedy. The increase in vinification contributed to the diffusion of various trades, enhancing the tradition of local artisans and giving a considerable boost to the economy of Tuscany. In the i...
